Welcome to Here's my case by me, Justin Clardie. Please read the about section to find out more about the purpose of this blog.

But if you don’t have time to read that, the short version is that much of our political discussion ignores facts and evidence. This leads to baseless, unprovable claims designed only to make us feel better and our opponents angry.

The name, Here’s my case, implies the need to support a claim with evidence. “I think x is true and here’s my case…” The expectation that we, as citizens, and our leaders should provide specific evidence in support of specific claims is one small way to make our political discussion more fruitful.

At least initially I will try and publish posts twice a week-Monday and Thursday. We’ll see how that goes to start with and will adjust if needed.
